Highlighting the magic, beauty and diversity of life amongst our local coastal dune systems, this lino print is a celebration of the yellow-tailed black cockatoo and the places it relies on for habitat.
This linocut took 49 hours to illustrate and carve, and was an absolute labour of love. Each print takes about an hour to prepare the paper and hand press.
‘Habitat’ won First Prize in the 2023 Biodiversity of the Sunshine Coast exhibition and art competition.
Due to the limited space in my studio I can only hand print a small number of these large prints at once. Each print will be lovingly prepared once your payment has been received, and will take around 10 days to dry. It will then be packaged and shipped to you.
I will be in touch with you each step of the way to keep you informed on the progress of your artwork.

‘Reflections’ captures life along the boardwalk in Noosa National Park on sunset.
Golden hour is often buzzing with life before darkness gently settles the day.
Perched on the branch of a flowering Banksia, a Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo watches the last rays of golden light ripple across the ocean. Sulphur-crested Cockatoos cheekily dance amongst the trees, and the sun sets over the hinterland in the distance.
It's a special place to sit and reflect, and soak up the beauty of life that is happening all around.
‘Journey’ captures the strength, joy and beauty of a laughing Kookaburra perched amongst a diversity of wild flowers.
Kookaburras are often seen as a symbol for lightness, laughter and joy, but can also be a symbol of strength and healing.
These wild flowers are a reminder that even when life offers up its darkest times (as it does for all of us), love and beauty can still be found.
Our hearts are capable of holding joy, love, grief and pain simultaneously, and there is great healing available when we allow these things to flow together.
My lino print ‘Messenger’ is part of my ‘Spirit Birds’ Collection, which explores an undercurrent of urgency around environmental loss, and celebrates the beauty and wisdom that black cockatoos bring to the landscape and to those who take the time to listen and connect.
The Bunya tree is an iconic tree in the landscape, striking in its features, even more so silhouetted against a golden sun. Signalling the way home to a family of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, much like these trees do for others who are homeward bound on these lands.
This lino print is inspired by the Bunya trees on Jinibara Country.
Perched amongst the branches of a Bunya tree (Araucaria bidwillii), a Sulphur-crested cockatoo peacefully gazes out across the landscape as it feeds on a bunya nut. A flock of black cockatoos pass by under a golden sun.
This lino print was part of the 2025 ‘Beyond Bunya Dieback’ exhibition and invites reflection on the fragility of ecosystems and the challenges they face in a rapidly changing world.
‘Outlook’ was inspired by the stunning coastal vegetation that lines the trails of the Cooloola Great Walk on Kabi Kabi Country, Sunshine Coast Queensland.
Banksias frame the view looking back towards Noosa Headlands in the distance as the sun rises over the ocean and black cockatoos pass overhead.
‘Midnight’ is a little lino print capturing the full moon behind a banksia surrounded by stars in the night sky.
This print was carved and hand pressed on the 2025 February Blood Moon Eclipse.
